Pierre Trahan photo



A lawyer by trade, Pierre Trahan is a seasoned entrepreneur, a philanthropist and an avid art collector. In both business and art, he continues to seek out innovation and creativity, regularly drawing inspiration from the art world.

Besides OSSimTech, Mr. Trahan owns Cedarome Canada Inc., which he started while completing his law degree. Now, some 35 years later, Cedarome is a major player in the international essential oils and aromatic chemicals market. Other companies in which Mr. Trahan owns significant interests include Novotaste, a flavour manufacturer and Druide Informatique, a software developer and publishing firm.

A passionate collector, he also opened Division Gallery in 2005. In 2012, Mr. Trahan opened Arsenal, a contemporary art center devoted to the promotion of Canadian and international contemporary art. Arsenal Contemporary Art now has locations in Montreal, Toronto and New York. As part of his philanthropic work, Mr. Trahan sits on the board of trustees of Montreal’s McCord Museum and supports fundraisers for the arts, health and other social causes.

Vice-President – Strategic Business Development

A graduate of Illinois State University with a BS in Communications, John has extensive experience in the orthopedic industry, having worked in the spine, trauma and total joint markets for over 25 years with some of the major players—Stryker, Depuy, NuVasive and Integra. He brings to OSSimTech relevant experience in medical education, management of clinical profession development and surgeon education projects.

Director - Engineering, Research & Development

Sébastien is a Ph.D. Graduate in Engineering, responsible for the engineering of product development. He oversees all aspects of engineering and technological R&D. His wide experience includes leadership of the R&D department at Sologlobe and collaboration on the development of the Neuro-Touch surgical simulator at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).

Director - Administration and Human Resources

Having worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years, Marie-Claude Landry holds a solid experience in management, strategic planning and philanthropic development. Before joining the OSSimTech team, her professional background has led her to numerous leadership positions in renowned institutions such as the YMCAs of Québec and Heritage Montreal.

Director - Product Development

Lauranne is a Ph.D. Graduate in Biomechanical Engineering, responsible for managing and coordinating product development projects. Her extensive knowledge in the medical field has led her to numerous publications and recognitions, providing a valuable expertise at OSSimTech. Her broad experience includes leadership of the R&D department at Vizua 3D, development of computer-assisted solutions for surgery at ZimmerBiomet as well as several academic functions regarding medical technology.
